Our Corporate social responsibility reflects both our brand and our values by addressing some of society’s most complex problems and striving to bring about a sustainable solution.
We want to contribute to the social and economic development of the communities in which we operate and want to improve the way of living of the weaker sections of society and raise the country’s human development index in the means of health, education and cleaning environment.

We are committed to making a positive impact through our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, partnering with organizations that are dedicated to creating a better society. We are proud to support the following entities in their noble missions:
Suhrud Mandal: Empowering Hearing-Impaired Children Through Education
Motto: Enabling hearing-impaired children to lead lives similar to their peers.
Clariant Power System Ltd. is providing financial support to Suhrud Mandal for developing teacher handbooks and textbooks for pre-primary to class 2 levels, in line with the National Education Framework 2020. This initiative aims to:
- Enhance Curriculum Delivery: Create customized learning materials for subjects like maths, social studies, arts and crafts, and sciences for young hearing-impaired students.
- Empower Educators: Train teachers to effectively implement the new curriculum, equipping them with the skills and resources needed for their students.
- Directly Benefit Students: Impact 450 deaf children in Suhrud Mandal’s four special schools, offering a more accessible and engaging educational experience.
By supporting this project, Clariant is committed to empowering Suhrud Mandal in providing quality education for hearing-impaired children enabling them to reach their full potential and integrate seamlessly into society.
Apla Ghar: Providing Care and Support for the Vulnerable
Motto: To serve the economically weaker sections of society through various initiatives.
We recognise the compassionate work of Apla Ghar, an initiative of the Vaibhav Phalnikar Memorial Foundation.
- Clariant Power System Ltd. has contributed towards new equipment and cataract and cancer operations at Apla Ghar’s hospital. This support directly addresses the healthcare needs of the elderly residents and the wider community they serve. By providing essential medical resources, we aim to strengthen Apla Ghar’s ability to offer critical care and improve the quality of life for those who rely on their services. Our contribution helps power their commitment to providing comprehensive support and care to the needy.
P.A.C.E. Group: Championing a Drug-Free Society
Motto: To prevent addictions to tobacco and related substances through education and awareness.
We acknowledge the vital work of the P.A.C.E. (Prevention of Addictions through Community Empowerment) Group.
Our contribution will support P.A.C.E. Group’s pan-India efforts to organize impactful programs and deliver lectures on the benefits of eliminating drug use. By supporting their outreach initiatives, we are helping them to:
- Raise Awareness: Educate children and communities about the harmful effects of tobacco and other addictive substances.
- Empower Youth: Equip young individuals with the knowledge and resilience to say “NO” to drugs.
- Strengthen Families: Encourage open communication between parents and children regarding addiction.

Nivara Old Age Home: Providing Dignified Care for the Elderly
Motto: To serve the elderly destitute and provide them with lifelong care, free of charge.
Clariant Power appreciates the vital work of Nivara Old Age Home, a self-sustaining trust dedicated to providing a safe and dignified environment for elderly individuals in need, all free of charge.
- Our contribution to Nivara Old Age Home will be used to support the food and other essential facilities for their residents. By providing for their basic needs, we aim to enhance the quality of life for the elderly individuals under their care. This support helps Nivara continue to offer a nurturing and homely environment where residents are treated with respect and dignity, ensuring they receive the care and comfort they deserve in their later years.
